Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior PR Manager to lead Talent Relations, Product Comms and Team Operations. This position will be based in Shanghai, China, and reports to the PR Director. Through cross functional collaboration, this role is critical to drive cultural relevance and national reach for the brand, support the sustainable growth of our business through impactful product storytelling, as well as foster stronger relations with external stakeholders, including brand ambassadors, athletes, celebrities, and media, etc.

Core Accountabilities:
Talent Relations
  • Act as the key contact window of celebrity and athlete liaison and outreach Manage China Brand Ambassador roster, including shooting, event, interview and more
  • Work closely with Global Sports Marketing team to lead high-profile global
  • Ambassador in-market activation and coordination
  • Explore collaboration opportunities with entertainment IPs to drive buzz
Product Comms
  • Develop and execute product comms strategies for lululemon in China
  • Lead product-focused campaigns and create always-on product comms drumbeat
  • Curate compelling product pitch and asset pack timed to culture moments, trends, and brand/product roadmap
  • Create meaningful connections with key fashion, lifestyle, sports, trend and mass media to secure product placements
  • Build authentic relations with talent to secure product exposure through seeding efforts
Team Operations
  • Oversee agency to manage PR sample room
  • Lead earned media analytics to provide insights for PR strategies
  • Reporting, planning, budgeting and others
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of dynamic experience in PR; fashion or retail experience is preferred
  • Have a keen understanding of the media and social landscapes in China
  • Solid experience in managing celebrity and athlete relationships
  • Track records of PR campaigns and product comms
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
  • Constant and curious learner; always looking at new ways to innovate in this space
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Strong advisory and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or above

Workplace Arrangement:
In-person collaboration and office-based work is necessary and important for this role. Work is performed onsite, 5 days a week, depending on role requirements.
