core responsibilities 

Consumer Behavior & Mindset Deep-Dive Analytics: Go beyond surface-level sales numbers by conducting rigorous integrated analysis across EC marketplace data tools such as Databank, ShuFang, Yuntu and RED UGC content, LINGXI. Decode the "why" behind purchasing patterns—uncovering shifting consumer perceptions, emotional drivers, and emerging need states that pure transaction data alone cannot reveal. Translate these behavioral and attitudinal insights into clear, actionable recommendations for campaign messaging refinement, product portfolio positioning, and audience segmentation strategies.


Audience-Tailored Communication: Develop and deliver multi-format communications—ranging from data-rich deck narratives to concise executive summaries—that clearly address the distinct informational needs and decision-making contexts of diverse audience segments, from technical analysts to brand strategists.


Data Aggregation & Ecosystem Integration: Collaborate closely with TP and ISV partners to consolidate multi-source datasets—spanning Ali Data Bank, Strategy Center, Shufang, and YUNTU—tracking essential performance KPIs and delivering regular diagnostic snapshots grounded in actual guests behavioral footprints.


Multi-Tiered Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute comprehensive business reports on a weekly, monthly, seasonal, and fiscal-year basis—deconstructing KPI trajectories, surfacing untapped growth opportunities at both brand and category levels, and presenting synthesized overviews to senior leadership.

 

qualifications 

  • 5 & above years’ experience in EC analytics field and a global retail environment
  • Must be skilled at using analytics to drive decision-making
  • Knowledge of the tools, methods and approaches that are driving higher conversion rates, increased average order value and acquisition techniques
  • Expertise in loyalty techniques and cross-channel analytics and measurement. Experience in EC operation is a plus
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Proven relationship management experience
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
