A day in the life: 
As the Guest Technology Director, your responsibility is to Lead the digital, retail, and omni teams while developing a comprehensive strategy to enable the China business to achieve a significant growth, reaching a substantial amount with retail stores across China mainland and multiple digital channels. Drive the implementation of technology initiatives that enhancing the guest experience, streamlining operations, and deliver new channels. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the technology strategy and achievement of business growth targets.

Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on digital, retail, and overall objectives.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, integrating digital technologies into all areas of the business to drive fundamental changes in operations and value delivery to customers.
Stay ahead of retail and technology trends, exploring new technologies, systems, and methodologies to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Build and lead a high-performing team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments, facilitating clear communication and understanding of technology initiatives.
Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring investments align with business priorities and deliver a strong return on investment.
Make key decisions regarding the overarching guest technology strategy, project scope and priorities, and allocation of the technology budget.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is required. 
At least 10 years of experience in a technology leadership role within the retail industry, with a proven track record of implementing successful digital transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of current and emerging retail technologies, including eCommerce platforms, mobile applications, and in-store digital solutions.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects, with excellent project management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, adept at building relationships and collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to achieve business goals.
Strong technical acumen with a comprehensive understanding of software development processes, system architecture, and design principles.
High level of adaptability and resilience, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in the retail industry.
