The Social Editorial Team is responsible for the best expression of the lululemon brand across the digital universe with an emphasis across Campaign & Editorial content, Social operation and KOLs cooperation.


The Social Editorial Team works on capturing the most insightful and impactful stories for the brand. Working in close collaboration with the Creative and Digital teams, the Social Editorial Team is a highly nimble and creative force that is able to identify the best creative opportunities across our communities and products and weave together the most riveting content formats that tell the best stories. The contents created by the team are delivered across all of our social media platforms across Red/WeChat/Weibo/Douyin amongst many others.


core responsibilities


The Social Manager of Planning and Editorial Content is a dedicated role in charge of the planning of daily social operation and editorial content creation on Wechat, Weibo, Xiaoyuzhou and bilibili, as well as the social amplification of the brand’s Integrated Marketing Campaigns.

  • Plan and oversee how lululemon’s important campaign moments are communicated in the digital/social universe of lululemon including content planning of the brand’s official accounts and influencers cooperation.
  • Great understanding of social media, particularly on Wechat, Weibo, Xiaoyuzhou and bilibili; Responsible for creating official account content strategy for the operation on respective platforms, overseeing the daily operation, establishing project and budget management metrics and managing the performance evaluation system.
  • Be able to plan, create and oversee always-on storytelling initiated from Wechat, Weibo, Xiaoyuzhou and bilibili while leveraging resources from both the platforms and internal cross-functional team to maximize the results and achievement.
  • Work with the EC team on building a Wechat calendar also helping to drive business pegged against relevant content drops.
  • Expert in digital creator space with knowledge and experience leveraging tools + data that help identify and activate creators
  • Responsible for data analysis, building reports and using data and insights to inform learnings and strategic recommendations


qualifications


  • 8+ years of social experience in the Sports or Fashion vertical, social media, start-up environment or tech company familiar with content-first social strategy.
  • Passionate about and knowledgeable in the sports industry, particularly in Yoga and Wellbeing, with a strong willingness and motivation to learn.
  • Passionate and Innovative for digital content and sensitive to digital marketing and social trends.
  • Good logical thinking and communication skills.
  • Sensitive to data, good data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and presentation skills
  • Strong Subjective initiative and self-driving force, able to proactively discover and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Multi-tasking and able to work under tight deadlines.
