about this team

As part of Retail Operations team, The Team is responsible for building up data, planning and analytics capabilities within Retail Operations team, and collaborate within Retail Operations and Retail Performance team, as well as with cross functional partners to turn insights into actions to support business growth in China.

 

core responsibilities

Lead Retail Planning & Analytics Strategy

  • Own and drive the overall retail planning & analytics roadmap, aligning with business priorities
  • Translate business strategy into actionable planning frameworks, KPIs, and performance tracking mechanisms
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities to influence decision-making at leadership level
Drive Advanced Analytics & Business Insights

  • Lead the development of advanced analytical models to generate actionable insights into store performance, productivity, and guest behavior
  • Elevate analytics from descriptive to predictive/prescriptive (e.g., forecasting, scenario modeling, optimization)
  • Ensure insights are translated into clear business recommendations with measurable impact

Own Retail Labor Planning & Optimization

  • Fully own labor planning strategy, including labor model governance, productivity targets, and continuous optimization
  • Partner with Global Retail Planning & Optimization and FP&A to enhance labor systems, tools, and frameworks
  • Drive labor efficiency improvements while balancing guest experience and store operations

Lead Financial Planning & Performance Management

  • Partner with FP&A and Omni Sales teams to manage sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Own retail financial modeling for strategic initiatives, store investments, and pilots; evaluate ROI and scalability
  • Provide actionable insights to improve topline growth and cost efficiency

Build & Scale Data & Analytics Capability

  • Drive the development of data infrastructure, reporting frameworks, and analytics tools to improve decision making efficiency
  • Champion data-driven culture across Retail and broader organization
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the central connector across Retail Operations, Omni, Finance, and Tech teams
  • Ensure alignment of data definitions, planning assumptions, and performance metrics
  • Lead governance cadence for planning and analytics reviews


qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in retail and relevant roles
  • University graduates preferably in statistics, business, operations, or related discipline 
  • Advanced level Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)
  • Strong ability to work independently and cross-functionally 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skill in both Mandarin and English 
  • Proficient in Windows based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
