Area Brand & Community Specialist

reports to

Senior Manager, Brand & Community, Shanghai & East

core responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior Brand & Community Manager to achieve the OKRs of the Area (Shanghai and East) in the region.
  • Collaborate with Retail teams (Area Director, Regional Managers) to curate annual marketing and community strategies to support the business.
  • Support and execute the overall area marketing strategy with integrated approach to maximize impact to the region, including elevated regional events management, in-mall advertising, mall DP, landlord communications, studio partnership, always-on marketing communications etc.
  • Support building the community foundation to build thriving community in the region, and to ensure premium brand positioning across community touch point.
  • Support tracking and measuring impact or local tactics and reactive actions (including storytelling, partnerships, guests’ sentiment, awareness/ buzz and traffic) to articulate the results of our local community work.
  • Manage essential operational groundwork including budget tracking, processing POs and contracts, and agency management.
 

qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in the sports, footwear & apparel industry, specializing in community marketing or related fields.
  • Deep local community connection and understanding of the Shanghai & East market.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communications skills that can liaise with multiple stakeholders while driving project progress
  • Strong leadership and ownership, open and positive mindset, who is solution seeker
  • Excellent written and speaking English and Chinese skills
  • Team player who can strongly connect with all functions
  • Detailed oriented and logical thinking, able to multi-projects
  • Outgoing, Sports lover and fun!
