About this team:

The Global Procurement team are trusted business advisors who strategically partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create value and mitigate risk in strategic non-product purchases for the global organization.  The team supports the business in increasing its profitability and return on investment by creating value in our indirect supply chain through strategic & stakeholder-centric procurement.  From providing category expertise, market insights, cost savings opportunities, supplier performance and relationship management & developing short and long-term strategies, the Global Procurement team plays a key role in value delivery for our business.


A day in the life:

The Procurement Analyst  supports indirect procurement activities in general in China market to cross-functional  stakeholders in meeting their business goals and objectives. They support these goals through  data analysis, competitive sourcing events, supplier negotiation and project management. They support the PLT in executing aspects of annual category plans and escalate opportunities or risks to those goals.


What you’ll do:

  • Define and deliver great outcome in partnership with stakeholders to educate procurement policy and process, support strategic sourcing events, supplier negotiations and project management, with the support of others in the Procurement organization as needed
  • Collaborate and accountable in conversation with business unit responsible person to understand the objectives & goals of the business, highlight potential synergy or saving opportunities and enhance procurement influence.
  • Managing supplier performance and relationships to ensure the organization’s expectations are met
  • Support execution of category sourcing planning to X-functional business stakeholders – MKT, Technology, Corp. service, Store development & IFM and SCM to fuel business growth through internal and external collaboration.
  • Leverage procurement knowledge in sourcing RFX, supplier relationship management  and multi-projects management simultaneously
  • Bring agility and sourcing efficiency to all activity; support execution of specific roadmaps containing prioritization of sourcing categories and events.
  • Support project status tracking and reporting with updates to global procurement and uncover additional insights by analyzing spend data and market benchmark.
  • Understand and manage digital tools related to procurement activity management and efficiency improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor
  • Preferred: Familiar with Retail industry experience
  • 3+ years Procurement experience

Must haves:

  • Experience in indirect procurement activity and capability of data analyzing, supplier sourcing, negotiation skills and supplier management.
  • A quick learner and a positive team member
  • Capable of balancing workload and prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office), knowledge of digital procurement tool  (Coupa)/Oracle will be a plus.
