Description & Requirements

The Fulfillment Planning Senior Analyst plays a vital role in enhancing the distribution and logistics service levels, as well as the financial performance for China. This position will involve collaboration with various cross-functional teams across the organization, including DC & Logistics Operations, SOP, FP&A, E-comm& Retail Operations, and Merchandise Planning.

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the fulfillment network strategy and planning, which is essential for driving business decisions and delivering insightful outcomes that identify and quantify opportunities. This includes, but is not limited to, managing in-season network planning models, facilitating the development of business cases, acting as a liaison between distribution centers, logistics, and upstream partners (such as Products, FP&A, and Digital), leading peak planning efforts and readiness for the downstream supply chain network in the market, driving the ongoing reporting and dashboard development necessary for effective network planning, and providing support for ad-hoc analyses and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1.                 Fulfillment network study:

o     Support team to conduct supply chain design assessments and network studies to identify improvements and innovations in our current processes.

o     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of the fulfillment strategy.

2.                 Fulfillment Strategy Development:

o     Assist to build-out of a comprehensive long-term fulfillment strategy for the China market.

o     Assist to develop and present a 5-year investment roadmap to senior management to ensure resource optimization and alignment with strategic growth initiatives.

3.                 Network Capacity Model Maintenance:

o     Regularly update and maintain the network capacity model by inputting key DC forecasting figures on monthly/weekly basis, including promotional events, and seasonality impact.

o     Work closely with stakeholders from various departments to ensure consistency and accuracy in capacity planning metrics, focusing on space and throughput capacities.

4.                 Inventory placement strategy:

o     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the optimal positioning of inventory across China DC locations, addressing the increasing complexity of the network for both e-commerce and retail operations.

o     Focus on optimizing inventory flow to ensure timely fulfillment and improving inventory efficiency.

5.                 Executive Level Deliverables:

o     Prepare high-level presentations and reports that effectively communicate the fulfillment strategy and planning to executive leadership.

o     Synthesize complex data into digestible insights that inform strategic decisions.

6.                 Data Analysis and Insight Development:

o     Analyze business decisions related to fulfillment by utilizing data analytics methods to identify trends, opportunities, and potential bottlenecks.

o     Deliver actionable insights to functional owners responsible for making informed fulfillment decisions that enhance operational performance and business growth.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

·        Proven experience (6-8 years) in supply chain management, fulfillment planning, or related roles, preferably in the e-commerce or retail sector.

·        Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and excellent problem-solving abilities.

·        Proficiency in data modeling, forecasting techniques, and tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

·        Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information succinctly to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

·        Strong project management abilities with a focus on driving results and meeting deadlines.

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.

·        Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
