About this team:

Fulfillment Programs in China manages strategic initiatives and projects to deliver new distribution center expansions and stand up new capabilities that transform distribution operations.  The Program Manager, Global Fulfillment Programs- China will deliver these capabilities by providing the expertise to deliver programs, projects, and operations optimizations within our global supply chain fulfilment function.  The oversight and management of Programs in China ensures we deliver on schedule, scope and budget to support our organization goals.

The Program Manager role will work with our Global Fulfillment leadership to lead Fulfilment Programs in China and partner with our cross-functional project teams to plan, design, and deliver against program deliverables and milestones.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver Programs and Projects in support of China Fulfilment
  • Build detailed program/project plans, roadmaps, charters, including integration touchpoints, dependencies, and sequencing
  • Manage portfolio issues and risks. Provide line-of-sight to PMO and functional leadership to issues, risks, and required decisions across the program portfolio.
  • Maintain consolidated resource and timeline views across the program portfolio
  • Manage the tracking of top-level financials and provide guidance and structure for specific program cost management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities to reduce costs, drive productivity, better leverage resources, and increase capital efficiency
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create program and project charters (scope, objectives, cost, benefits, resourcing, risks) and workplans for both
  • Provide input to the strategic planning and road-mapping process
  • Partner with the Technology organization to ensure the delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the program scope
  • Collaborate with and oversee 3rd party partners based on specific program scope of service requirements
  • Develop presentation content and manage executive-level updates and business reviews
  • Champion lululemon’s culture and core values

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in consulting, program management or management consulting preferably in vertically integrated, global, retail environments
  • Established history of managing programs and/or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE or regional equivalent of project and program related certifications a plus
  • Experience in Program and Project Management and Consumer Supply Chain Operations preferred

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience with managing project budgets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Microsoft Project
  • Experience working with systems and/or with technical teams seen as an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into simple narrative and recommendations for senior executive leaders
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and cross-functional relationship-building skills
  • Ability to drive results independently and collaboratively as a team player
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, self-starter and results driven
  • Thrive in bringing structure to ambiguity to drive business results
  • Passion for developing new ways of working with creativity and flexibility
  • Written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and in English
