ABOUT THIS TEAM
As the Senior Manager, Planning & Analytics, you are the person always in the same pace as stores not only in retail but also in omni environment, as well as within lululemon. You will be responsible for building up data, planning and analytics capabilities within Retail Operations team, and collaborate within Retail Operations and Retail Performance team, as well as with cross functional parnters to turn insights into actions to support business growth in China.
You need to have strong connection with the retail teams, always be passionate to support stores, and the best in the world to complete complex projects by prioritizing, simplifying, aligning, communicating across SSC functional partners.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
· Passionate about turning numbers into insights that will inform how we run our business
· Turn complex analysis into simple conclusions and clearly communicate finding in reports and presentations
· Ability to present findings into a format that is visually appealing and easily digestible to the target audience
· Create KPIs and dashboards showcasing the performance of the stores that will be presented to executives on a frequent basis
· Able to provide executive summary and story telling to senior leaders
· Work closely with FP&A as well as Omni Sales Team (EC/Wechat mini program, etc.) to build up retail commercial plans and drive sales plans
· Perform financial modelling to forecast the quantitative impact of pilots and strategic projects, including projected return on investment
· Support the team and cross-functional partners with store & guest insights/analysis
· Provide actionable recommendations that meet and exceed business need based on KPIs
· Work closely with Global Retail Planning & Optimization team and local FP&A team for retail labor efficiency, take charge in the labor program incl. system optimization, program upgrade and labor hours usage and efficiency
· Work closely as a community with Business Planning & Operations, Tech, and other counterparts in various function to build up data & analytics awareness across the company
· Participate in cross-functional initiatives to provide financial analysis, decision and business case support
QUALIFICATIONS
· 12+ years experience in retail and relevant roles
· University graduates preferably in statistics, business, operations, or related discipline
· Advanced level Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)
· Strategic problem solver with an operational and process driven mindset.
· Strong ability to work independently and cross-functionally
· Excellent written and verbal communications skill in both Mandarin and English
· Proficient in Windows based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
