Lululemon Sustainable Business and Impact team leads the work with key partners and stakeholders to achieve the goals set in lululemon’s IMPACT AGENDA.
This role is part of the enterprise-wide sustainability team shaping the future of impact within our brand and business. The team leads and integrates our vision and initiatives across the company to create value for our brand, our collective (guests, employees, makers, ambassadors), and society. core responsibilities
- Work closely with vendors, internal teams and local partners to assure responsible supply chain and vendor code of ethics (VCoE) compliance.
- Conduct Responsible Supply Chain assessment, training and capacity building program Includes visiting factories on a regular basis to elevate and ensure that the vendor is fully comply with the codes.
- Supports regional implementation of regional and globally developed implementation & engagement programs to support lululemon’s commitment towards the people who make our product.
- Submit high quality communication and deliverables (reports, assessment recaps, remediation plans, projects, etc) in a timely manner to all internal partners.
- Ensure social compliance database is up to date and accurate.
- Drive for continuous program improvement and sustainable development.
qualifications
- 10+ years experience in Responsible Supply Chain, Ethical Trade, Sustainability, Human Rights in region, leading monitoring & improvement programs.
- Exceptional understanding of regional risks and experience on social responsibility, empowerment and supply chain management.
- Proven ability to communicate complex concepts and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to drive action.
- Program/project management and delivery or equivalent consulting experience.
- Strong relationship management skills & capabilities with vendors, regional stakeholders (e.g. industry organizations, peer brands, workers rights groups and civil society organizations)
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal), other language is an asset.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of time.
