about this team

The Enterprise Technology team partners closely with Finance,Legal, HR, Asset Protection and other corporate functions to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions across Accounting, Financial Planning, Legal, HR systems.

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business needs are clearly understood, translated into requirements, and delivered with measurable value.

core responsibilities

Partner closely with Finance, Legal, HR, Asset Protection and other corporate functions business stakeholders, Product Managers, and Technology teams to understand business processes and objectives. Act as a bridge between business and technology by critically reviewing proposed technical solutions, evaluating feasibility, scalability, integration impact, and alignment with business objectives. Responsible for aligning delivery plan with organization priorities and managing the narrative of execution with value and guest impact as guiding principles.

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability to solution design
  • Review and validate technical solution designs (including system architecture, data flows, APIs, integrations, and security considerations) to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and technical constraints, proactively proposing mitigation strategies
  • Perform impact analysis across upstream/downstream systems and ensure cross-system solution alignment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive solution alignment and technical consistency
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement validation sessions
  • Support delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions align with agreed business outcomes and approved technical design
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices, templates, and delivery processes
  • Support initiatives across Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies

 

qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications
  • 3+ years of experience working within Accounting, Financial Planning or Finance system environments
  • Experience working in large, cross-functional enterprise environments
  • IT Business Partner (ITBP) experience preferred
  • Technical background (e.g., Automation tools, data structures, APIs, SQL, systems integration, system configuration) is nice to have
  • PMP, Scrum certifications considered assets
