Job Summary:

As a Program Manager, China, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure for strategic business initiatives. These initiatives could entail new business opportunities, business process development/reengineering, implementing new technologies, managing organizational changes, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

-       Project Initiation: Defining project objectives, conducting feasibility studies, and identifying key stakeholders. You will also develop and obtain alignment on the project charter.

-       Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. You'll create risk management strategies, define team roles, and establish communication protocols.

-       Project Execution: Leading project teams to execute tasks, manage resources, and ensure the project progresses according to plan. You will maintain clear communication with stakeholders and manage any changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget.

-       Project Tracking: Tracking project performance, identifying deviations from the plan, and implementing corrective actions. You'll ensure the project remains on track and meets all objectives.

-       Project Closure: Finalizing all project activities, obtaining formal acceptance of deliverables, documenting lessons learned, and closing out contracts. You will also be responsible for archiving project documents and releasing resources.

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of project management methodologies to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.

This role will report into the Program Director, China.

Job Requirements:

-       6+ years of experience in project management with a proven track record of leading complex, strategic projects to completion especially around business process modeling/mapping, change management and business transformation

-       Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to learn on the job

-       Able to solve problems and get to the core of an issue through investigation and analysis for strategic and operational problems new to both you and the organization

-       Detail oriented and super organized

-       Strong team player, able to enroll the organization in your projects and effectively build relationships across the business

-       Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written and verbal

-       Experience with various project management tools, i.e. Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.

-       Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English

-       University degree required

-       PMP certification a plus
