Visual merchandising plays a crucial role in creating an immersive retail environment and an exceptional shopping experience for our guests. As an integral component of China's Brand Marketing Team, we work in close collaboration with both SSC & Global partners. Our objective is to lead with strategic vision, execute distinctive brand initiatives, and deliver unparalleled support to our stores, thereby ensuring that every guest interaction is impactful and memorable. core responsibilities


  • VM Strategy & Planning

    • Develop and execute the regional VM strategy for North China, aligning with national brand objectives and business goals.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Reginal VM team authority, setting clear expectations and performance standards.
    • Drive Reginal VM Leadership initiative and escalate VM skill as well as VM styling performance.
  • Regional VM Support & Training:

    • Oversee and elevate​ the VM standards for all new store openings and renovations in the North region. Design and implement​ advanced training programs to build VM capabilities across the region, driving initiatives that enhance styling performance and visual impact.
  • Pre-Opening & In-Store Execution:

    • Lead essential pre-opening training for retail partners and store educaor, managing enrollment and follow-up.
    • Conduct weekly on-site visits (minimum 2 shifts) to assess product presentation, identify training needs, and provide hands-on RVML support.
  • Program Management & Planning:

    • Co-lead RVML with the strategy, development, and continuous improvement​ of the VMSOS program for the North region.
    • Assist in designing optimal store layouts and merchandise maps, optimizing material orders, and providing insights for effective plan execution.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Serve as the key VM business partner​ for the North region Opening & Optimization, Inventory, Marketing, and Retail leadership teams. Ensure VM strategies are integrated into all commercial planning, from campaign launches to store layouts, to maximize business results and brand consistency.
    • Work with Inventory, Marketing, and Retail teams to develop store layouts that support campaigns and promotions, ensuring a consistent brand experience.

  • Communication & Performance:

    • Act as the liaison between SSC partners and the retail team, facilitating timely feedback and support to address store needs.
    • Monitor project timelines and communication plans to ensure successful implementation.
    • Proactively seek feedback and foster collaboration to help improve overall sales performance.


qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Art, or Visual Communications.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in visual merchandising, with at least 5 years in a regional management or leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven experience in people management and team development.
  • A well-developed aesthetic sensibility and a strong awareness of current styles and trends.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both interpersonal and written, with fluency in English and Chinese.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, adopting a proactive mindset. Strong decision-making skills reflective of an entrepreneurial approach, with a dedication to consistently meeting and exceeding objectives and embracing additional responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, with familiarity in Adobe software considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, as well as to engage actively on the retail floor.
