Senior Business Analyst

core responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead end‑to‑end business domain analysis, cross‑domain rule governance, and data‑driven solution design within the MP&A (Merchandise Planning & Allocation) domain.
This role serves as the methodology and quality anchor for complex business initiatives, owning business blueprinting, guiding demand shaping, and enabling high‑quality decision‑making across teams. The Senior BA will work closely with Program Managers, cross functions to ensure business intent is clearly translated into scalable and actionable solutions.
1. End‑to‑End Domain Analysis & Rule Governance
• Own and drive the To‑Be business blueprint for the MP&A domain, including:
• Inventory Management & Inventory Utilization
• Go‑To‑Market (GTM) end‑to‑end processes
• Product and supply chain operational insights, with clear business recommendations
• Analyze, design, and maintain cross‑domain rule frameworks (e.g. allocation, replenishment, distribution), ensuring consistency, scalability, and data‑driven inventory management.
• Produce and maintain end‑to‑end business process and domain modules, and collaborate with technology teams to ensure effective mapping to system requirements .
2. Business Analysis Methodology & Quality Ownership (Must Have)
• Act as a senior‑level BA with ITBP / Product Owner‑like capabilities, deeply understanding business motivation and actively shaping requirement direction.
• Establish and maintain analysis standards and baseline artifacts, including:
• Feature Maps
• GTM End‑to‑End Process Maps
• Cross‑domain Rule Dictionaries
• Lead or deeply participate in solution and design reviews, providing:
• Structured analysis and decision options
• Risk assessment and impact evaluation
• Clear recommendations for complex or ambiguous business problems
3. Cross‑Functional Communication & Alignment
• Facilitate and lead discussions in multi‑initiative and multi‑channel scenarios, supporting governance decisions and conflict resolution.
• Drive value assessment, prioritization, and scope definition, ensuring business outcomes, delivery rhythm, and analytical quality.
• Work closely with Program Managers and cross‑functional teams to guide discussions, clarify problem statements, and drive alignment.
• Serve as a business and methodology advisor to Program Managers at key milestones.
4. Non‑Functional Requirements & High‑Pressure Scenarios (Preferred)
• Define business‑driven non‑functional requirements, such as performance expectations, access control, auditability, and compliance.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and resilience during high‑pressure periods (e.g. peak sales events, major releases).
qualifications
• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in MP&A‑related domains, with strong exposure to retail or fashion industry practices (Merchandise Planning, Allocation, Supply Chain).
• Strong structured and analytical thinking, capable of end‑to‑end and cross‑domain business abstraction.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with proven experience leading cross‑functional workshops and driving decisions.
• Strong capabilities in:
• Solution analysis and review
• Value assessment and trade‑off analysis
• Multi‑initiative conflict handling
• Priority and scope management
• High resilience and ownership, able to operate effectively in complex and high‑pressure environments.
