A  DAY  IN THE LIFE

  • Manage sample process end to end to support China campaigns assets creation
  • Be involved into the pre-seasonal process from product x brand for campaign styles defining, building format and necessary information for global & China internal communication later
  • Consolidate the information once multiple teams put sample orders into the system, actively work with global sample operation team to identify the priorities.
  • Timely communicate with brand team on sample readiness status, constantly work with merch team and brand team for substitutions or solutions needed. Sharing the status quo to the leadership team for emerge further alignment or decisions
  • Coordinating & follow up with merch & planning team to take action from product system based on styling selection & decisions.
  • Coordinating the sample collection from product to brand team, managing the system invoicing processes with the sample receipts
  • Summarize based on the seasonal learnings, share back with global & China team for future process optimization

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-8 years’ experience in retail in a merchant or buying role
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified (Business, commerce preferred)
  • Vertical retail and omni channel experience highly desirable
  • Mastery of retail mathematics and Open to Buy
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret multiple data points across numerous channels and market segments
  • Proven ability to work with and lead a cross functional team
  • Excellent sense of style and color trends; athletically minded
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal • Entrepreneurship – an ability to make decisions and take calculated risks
  • Focus on creating extraordinary guest experience, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement (goal –oriented)
  • Willingness to travel and work on the retail floor
