about this team
The role is responsible for overseeing all DC Engineering within multiple distribution centers.

core responsibilities
• Leads and develop a Fulfillment Engineering team located in multiple locations for end-to-end Supply Chain from Supplier to Store
• Create a motivational and supportive environment in which employees are challenged, coached, trained, and provided with career opportunities
• Builds and develops a team that is incentivized to lead and develop specialized knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce the continual process, tool, and methodology improvements
• Builds and develops a team of data scientists and analysts to own the reporting and analytics portfolio for Global Fulfillment
• Builds and develops a team of product managers based on functional capabilities across Fulfillment Systems
• Develop and sustain strong, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including DC Directors, Tech, Fulfillment Leadership, Stores and Allocation/Planning
• Develop and deliver multi-year foundational and strategic roadmaps to drive improvements across the network, focused on distribution center and fulfillment network within Region
• Develop and sustain strong, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including Fulfillment Operations & Leadership, Technology, Retail Stores, Digital, and Allocation/Planning
• Design and build comprehensive fulfillment reporting suite for management, leadership, and cross-functional visibility and decision-making
• Coordinates efforts to incorporate new concepts into existing systems, develop new systems, and drive process improvement in the fulfillment network
• Conducts internal and external benchmarking, working with internal customers, research and development efforts into future technologies and performance
• Support regional project managers and external consultants on all DC projects including but not limited to retrofit projects, new facility design and implementation, warehouse management systems implementation, vendor selections
• Coordinate and manage competing priorities across the Regional Fulfillment roadmap to act as the conduit/catalyst for the deployment of solutions including cross-functional alignment
• Build and execute strategy of distribution center material handling engineering and automation, including facility development whether internal or 3PL to drive appropriate level of standardization of process and automation across the fulfillment network
• Own and define the key performance indicators (KPIs) and diagnostics to measure performance against Fulfillment business goals within Region

qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Technology or related discipline
• Master's degree preferred
Experience:
• 5+ years of direction supervision leading an Engineering, Product Management, and/or Analytics team
• 10+ years minimum of relevant experience with Supply Chain operations and the Apparel/Footwear industries preferred
• 10+ year minimum of relevant experience with Analytics, Data Science Portfolio, Product Management, Material Handling Equipment, Facilities Maintenance, Engineered Labor Standards in a Fulfillment Center environment and Supply Chain Operations

• A proven executive with leadership and ability to achieve aggressive company goals and highest standards

• Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to manage change, develop, mentor and coach personnel, including experience with cross-functional teams
• Ability to effectively manage a large, dispersed team and prioritize work across multiple locations, domestic and international
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong business, leadership, and planning skills and demonstrated executive-level presence
• Proven experience creating executive-level data visualization reports in Power BI and other applications
• Strong communications skills with other internal team members, including ability to present to middle and senior management to drive decision making
• Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets
• Excellent facilitation, issue resolution skills, and ability to drive consensus
• Ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups
• Ability to work in a lean, matrixed, highly collaborative team environment with multi-cultural members
• Must be comfortable with and embrace consensus decision-making
• Ability to plan, budget and manage project execution
• Ability to take business forecasts and translate into foundational and strategic roadmap to support business
• Extensive experience with MHE specification including power equipment, conveyor systems, rack systems, sortation systems and various picking methodologies
• Strong experience with Microsoft products such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
• Strong experience with Atlassian products such as Confluence and JIRA
• Knowledge in mining large & complex data sets using Python, R, SQL, and utilizing statistical, machine learning and analytics techniques preferred

workplace arrangement
In-person collaboration and office-based work is necessary and important for this role. Work is performed onsite, 5 days a week, depending on role requirements.
