about this team

The eCommerce Marketplace team is a core function of the eCommerce team in China, driving sustainable business excellence across all marketplace channels, including Tmall, JD.com and Douyin stores. This team is leading business growth with elevation on brand awareness, optimization on operation, enhancement on guest experience and strategic partnership with platforms. 

core responsibilities

  • The owner of Douyin Store to lead business target delivery and operation efficiency
  • Due diligence lululemon business strategy & model on Douyin and build up lululemon Douyin business to drive brand awareness & sales growth
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Douyin operation team to ensure excellent guest experience and satisfaction, adherence to standard operating procedures, and high efficient completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with marketing and product team to provide right assortment, right content (short video and livestreaming) and right experience on Douyin
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and seek improvement opportunities with front-end and back-end operations
  • Leverage data and analytics to track site performance and initiate changes as needed
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to optimize guest experience

qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Ecommerce operations and 2+ years Douyin Ecommerce management.
  • Deep understanding of Douyin eco-system, a highly-analytics mindset, and extensive knowledge of the business levers, processes, and trading actions that can be harnessed to deliver both top-line revenue growth as well tight control of costs to deliver maximum contribution on Douyin platform.
  • Familiar with livestreaming and video content marketing.
  • Experience across both front and back end operations with deep expertise.
  • Project management experience and strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience building relationships across departments.
  • Experience in apparel or sportwear preferred
