about this role

The role of E-commerce Own Channel Optimization Lead will be based at lululemon’s China SSC in Shanghai, dedicated to the long-term development and growth of lululemon in China. 



core responsibilities


Mini-Program Store Operations & Management:

  • Own the end-to-end operational management of our brand's store on the Xiaohongshu Mini Program.
  • Curate and optimize the storefront's visual merchandising and content to enhance user experience and drive conversion.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance metrics (traffic, conversion rate, GMV, etc.) to derive insights and implement optimization strategies.
  • Design and implement an omni-channel sales plan that leverages KOS across live streams, short videos, and notes to create a seamless shopping journey.
  • Proactively identify, test, and scale new growth opportunities within the Xiaohongshu platform. Stay ahead of platform trends, new features (e.g., new live streaming tools, advertising products), and competitor strategies.


New Business Expansion:

  • Develop and execute strategies for new platform partnerships, including new platform entry analysis and partnership negotiations to expand our direct reach, ensuring alignment with brand values and customer preferences
  • Lead end-to-end new business initiatives, from concept ideation to launch, ensuring scalability and profitability with consistent growing purpose
  • Monitor project timeline closely with agile adaptation and changes based on real execution or challenges
  • Collaborate closely with brand marketing team, retail, internal ec team and agencies to deliver digital plan execution
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities in own channel and social commerce.


Ongoing Business Acceleration & Innovation :

  • Leverage analytics tools to track performance with enhancement ideas to resolve the bottlenecks on current platforms
  • Work closely with digital product to analyze user journey, drop-off points, and conversion funnels to improve retention and engagement
  • Explore new features to enhance functionality for experience and conversion

 

qualifications

  • 5 & above years’ experience in a global retail environment (e-commerce and digital marketing)
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, platforms and emerging retail trends
  • Must be skilled at using analytics to drive decision-making
  • Experience working with new business e-commerce platforms
  • Proven experience of ecommerce operations on mini-program or Xiaohongshu, also consider candidates with social media experience on Xiaohongshu.
  • Knowledge of the tools, methods and approaches that are driving higher conversion rates, increased average order value and acquisition techniques
  • Expertise in loyalty techniques and cross-channel analytics and measurement
  • Ability to train, develop, evaluate, discipline, reward, coach a team in a way that attracts and retains high quality and qualified employees
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Proven relationship management experience
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
