about this team

The E-commerce Product Marketing Lead will drive customer-centric storytelling and commercial effectiveness across key digital touchpoints within China’s e-commerce ecosystem (WeChat, Red, .CN, Tmall, JD, Douyin etc.).


This role acting as the bridge to ensure brand narratives are effectively translated into high-performing e-commerce experiences. You will define content and experience requirements, guide cross-functional alignment, and partner closely with e-Merchandising and UX/UI to enhance overall effectiveness across the customer journey.


core responsibilities

  • Act as the key bridge between e-commerce, brand marketing, and business teams, driving alignment on priorities and translating brand direction, user insights, and business needs into clear, actionable guidance for the broader EC team
  • Define key customer journey requirements and touchpoints across e-commerce experiences, articulating content, messaging, and conversion needs in close collaboration with UX/UI teams
  • Collaborate with e-merchandising and business teams to align on product priorities, assortment focus, and campaign objectives
  • Translate platform characteristics, user behavior, and performance insights into clear briefs that guide marketing and creative execution across e-commerce channels
  • Partner with brand marketing to ensure campaign and product storytelling is effectively adapted and optimized for e-commerce environments

 

qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, e-commerce marketing, or digital marketing
  • Strong experience with China e-commerce platforms (WeChat, Red, Tmall, JD, Douyin etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, content strategy, and conversion optimization
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
