About this team
Reporting directly to the Inventory Management Manager, this position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing retail store inventory performance to ensure high product availability, healthy inventory levels, and efficient stock flow across stores and regions. This role partners closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Planning, and Finance to improve store inventory efficiency by minimizing excess stock, reducing stock out, and support store sales growth.
A day in the life:
Monitor weekly store inventory rolling and performance, analyze inventory trends and identify replenishment gaps against forward sales plans
Manage optimal inventory placement to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and stock out frequency
Provide actionable insights to recommend inventory movement and transfer actions across stores
Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and adjust system parameters, including safety stock and min/max levels
Partner with Retail Operations team to support Peak Management at store level including promotion event and markdown clearance sales
Support automation and reporting enhancement initiatives on inventory dashboards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, or related field
3+ years of experience in inventory control or merchandising planning and allocation, preferably within a multi store retail or distribution environment
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and inventory systems, ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong attention to detail with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement.
Passion for retail, product, and understanding customer demand patterns.
