Led by Business Partnering Director China, working alongside the Retail Area Directors, Regional Managers and other functional partners, act as the P & C Business Partners to be responsible for creating and implementing regional people strategy, providing whole-spectrum of P & C support, to support the huge expansion of retail stores in China market, which will be 30+ NSOs to be opened in each year and reach 220 stores in 2026.

key responsibilities
• Be a strategic P & C partner and HR Generalist to Retail Area Directors and Regional Managers, based on local talent situation and competitive advantage, liaison with China COEs teams on determining the people needs of business and defining people strategy in multiple regions on people development, performance excellence, and key initiatives to enable business growth to support achieving the revenue targets.
• Partner with leaders in the design of succession plans for key talent and key job positions of stores/regions and in the creation of development plans for key talent
• Work with hiring managers to understand their requirements, develop candidate generation strategies and support them throughout hiring cycles for China Retail stores.
• Ensures positions are filled according to new market schedule time to hire and quality standards, for both NSO and existing stores.
• Coach managers on FFI and PIP process and make recommendations for performance improvement plans
• Handle all People Practice cases in region including but not limited to investigation, interviewing, managing-out conversations, labor arbitrations, etc.
• Be the voice of the business to People & Culture projects and initiatives
• Assess organizational structure and org effectiveness and provide organizational design leadership
• Partner with Finance to manage wage base spend and provide compensation recommendations to the business
• Develop and maintain people policies for China
• Ensure accuracy of job descriptions and role mapping across businesses
• Work closely with P&C Specialist to analyze people metrics and identify trends
• Provide coaching to build leadership effectiveness
• Partner with all departments of the People & Culture team to support business needs

level of experience
• 10 + years of working experience in a full spectrum of human resources capacity
• understanding of local labor law, comprehensive knowledge of local employment legislation
• Retail experience is preferred
