Visual merchandising is everything you see in the store. We use VM as a powerful tool to visualize your ideal store and optimize your guests’ experiences. A DAY IN THE LIFE
You will report into the Senior Manager, Retail Brand Experience
Work to best support your region.
• Ensures weekly VM Strategies are brought to life in-stores of west region: key product stories, product placement strategies and sell-through strategies. Provide visualization VM guidance according to the update of China VM weekly strategy.
• Coach and feedback to regional stores through VM weekly / monthly / quarterly strategies.
• Provide VM support for store’s campaign launch, event and seasonal promotion activities.
• Supports retail teams on training VM leads & building up training materials and provide VM training for stores on VM module /quarterly / monthly / weekly strategy, Support VM setup for VM off-site and VM workshop.
• Builds relationships and supports stores by attending 2 VM shifts a week to understand product levels and training opportunities. Schedule monthly / quarterly store visits(upon requests).
• Collect all necessary information about the measurements and dimensions of display windows / VM materials and maintain and updated database.
• Support the launch of VM related projects provide training, support review follow-up and collect feedback from store teams.
Responsible for supporting China new store openings and renovations.
• Provide Visual Merchandising support & training for all regional new store openings and renovations.
• Facilitate necessary pre-opening training & enrollment and followed-up calls for store teams.
• Support Lead, Key Market Visual Merchandiser in leading and developing the VMSOS program and coordination.
• Support Manager and Lead, Key Market Visual Merchandiser in building Optimal Store Layout / merch map, Optimize material ordering and providing inputs & updates for execution.
• Partner with the Opening + Optimization team on VMSOS communication and budgets based on business needs.
• Ensure quality visual standards and strategies for all new store openings, optimizations and renovations are met by enrolling store and support team in the Optimal Store Layout & Visual Strategies.
• Manage timelines and communication strategy for all projects
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising or visual communications
· 3-5years experience in visual merchandising or retail role
· Highly developed aesthetic, sense of style and trend.
· Mindful communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal. Fluent in English and Chinese
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Self-starter approach to work, entrepreneur way of decision making, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
· Strong knowledge of MS PowerPoint and ability to use adobe is a plus.
· Willingness to travel (domestic and international) and work on the retail floor.
