Job Summary:
As a Copy Manager, you will drive and elevate brand messaging by crafting compelling copy that resonates across campaigns and brand initiatives. Your role will involve creating original and localized content for a variety of channels, including social, print, video, and e-commerce. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring creative consistency while delivering impactful storytelling that aligns with global strategies and mentoring junior team members to elevate the overall quality of content produced.

Core Accountabilities:
CREATIVE OVERSIGHT
• Write original, breakthrough copy for campaigns, brand initiatives, and content across multiple channels (Social, Print, Video, Ecomm) with a strategic mindset that ensures alignment with brand goals and audience engagement.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Art Director to develop integrated creative concepts, ensuring a cohesive visual and verbal identity across all touchpoints.
• Localize global campaigns, ensuring concepts are aligned with the brand and resonate with local audiences.
• To create compelling and authentic copy that speaks to the audience's lifestyle and mindset, you must have a deep understanding of sports, yoga, and the mentality behind these activities.
• Edit, proofread, and fact-check content generated by the team, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and design teams to develop creative concepts for campaigns, branded initiatives, and events.
• Use category best practices to create top-tier brand and product storytelling.
• Maintain brand voice and ensure all copy aligns with brand strategy and deadlines.
• Mentor and lead junior writers, ensuring consistent development and high-quality output.
• Maintain brand consistency across all written communications, both internal and external.
• Oversee projects from concept to delivery, ensuring they meet creative and strategic goals.
MANAGEMENT
• Review and provide feedback on junior writers' work, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with the team and management to review timelines and resources and problem-solve to ensure timely creative delivery.
• Lead and mentor creative team members, fostering professional development and growth.
• Think conceptually, contribute creative solutions, and collaborate with the team to refine ideas.
• Expert in copy direction across various formats (Campaign, Brand ID, Shoot, Production, Film, Digital).
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and present ideas clearly to stakeholders.
• Guide the team’s development, offering mentorship in creative and career growth.
• Demonstrate high-level timeline management and team coordination skills.
• Deep understanding of brand and integrated marketing, with expertise in executing cross-functional collaborations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to transform guest insights into impactful creative.

Job Requirements:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• BA or BFA in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Chinese, or similar).
• 8+ years of experience in copywriting, with a strong portfolio of work across multiple channels.
• Experience in the agency side. Client-side experience is a plus.
• Experience in sports, yoga, or wellness-related industries is a plus.
• Proven ability to create compelling copy that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Expertise in creative direction for campaigns, brand identity, and digital content.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a team (3+ people).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong brand and integrated marketing understanding, with expertise in executing cross-functional collaborations.
• Strong strategic and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate insights into impactful creative.
• Creative with a pulse on the latest cultural, design, fashion, and tech trends
