About This Team
The Store Development team helps spearhead the company’s brick and mortar growth through the acquisition, design and construction of new stores. While helping our organization expand its footprint within the region, we are also responsible for keeping our internal stakeholders closely informed as we grow.
A Day in The Life:
As part of a tight-knit team, you will play an instrumental role in helping lululemon expand across mainland China. Your main focus is to oversee the processes involved with building our new stores. In addition to this, you will also collaborate closely with the team to continuously optimize our project management SOP and our supplier procurement management system.Your key responsibilities will include:

· Partner with Real Estate Managers, Designers and other internal business partners to develop new store, Popup, renovation and remodeling projects.
· Coordinate internal and external business partners, and maintain contractor, design consultant and vendor relations for each project.
· Manage vendors to source material, fixtures and other supplies for projects.
· Cooperate with VM, B&C, Tech, AP, Operations and Finance partners, aligning on planned expenditures and resource allocation across the entity portfolio.
· Manage overall construction process, track key milestones and budgets, mornitor contractor’s onsite&offsite works, build within budget, fit-out criterion, govement regulations and on time. Tracking and archiving close out requirements and other process data.
· Build out & maintain store fit-out guideline.
· Work with team for innovating new store concept, material and fixture mock-up.
· Support facility partner for maintenance problem solving.
Qualifications:
· 7+ years construction-related work experience
· Project management experience required
· Knowledge of landlord approval process (expectations, processes, guidelines etc.)
· University degree preferred
· Retail related construction experience preferred
