Job summary:

The role works across the functions to develop the long and short-range strategy and support all functions to reach the key business strategic initiatives and overall business goals.

The role knows that the success of the region is tied to collective success. The role will be the glue that brings teams, ideas and plans together, building up framework/process of developing regional business strategy and initiatives.  The role facilitates the process of collecting insights, pushing and pulling for the best results. The role also works with global to looks at the resources needed for region, optimizing the process and efficiency on the operating model amongst global, international and regional functions.

This position is based in Shanghai, China and requires travel based on business needs.

Core accountabilities:

  • Project owner for cross-functional initiatives, such as business new opportunities, China Risk mitigation, China operating model, etc. The role is responsible for aligning strategy, creating framework, managing the progress and driving results.
  • Project direction and progress management/updates for key cross-functional initiatives based on China growth strategy.
  • Business Rhythms - In partnership with the FP&A team, the role manages the timelines and ensure storytelling through the year through our Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.   The role is the main point of contact for reporting for centralized global functions, example EBT and reporting against Enterprise Imperatives.
  • Strategic Planning - Own GTM in market coordination with the region’s product and brand teams as well as with the global product and brand teams.   The role brings all in market functions together and upholds the process for cocreation and collaboration.
  • New Category, Global Campaign partnership. In partnership with the Brand team, the role supports bringing all functions together and is the point of contact for the product growth initiatives. Opportunity to create better ways of working with the Global teams to support needs in market.
  • Bring the world of Strategy and global guest experience together with the needs of the business.
  • Risk and Resiliency – The role obsesses about the longevity of the business. Asset Protection and Legal count on this role to run an ongoing program that supports Capabilities planning and Maturity.
  • The role is the POC for any critical issues and lead connection to Global stakeholders while supporting the needs of the team on the ground. 
  • The role oversees the creation of town halls, Senior Leadership Team visits and all events that bring the teams together. This role supports the Snr leadership team with offsites and content creation with the business needs in mind.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Mandarin and English for both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated, passionate, detail-oriented, multi-tasker extraordinaire who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause identification skills
  • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written and verbal
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn on the job and a 'growth mindset
  • Ability to influence and partner with others – a strong team player
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments and at different levels and time zones
  • BA required. PMO training or consultant background would be a plus
