About This Team

The Store Development team spearheads the company’s brick & mortar growth through the acquisition, design and construction of new stores. While helping our organization expand its footprint across China, we are also responsible for keeping our internal stakeholders closely informed as we grow. 

A Day In The Life:

The Leasing Manager is our primary vehicle for driving business development. They use their up to date understanding of the dynamic real estate market to ensure we select the best locations and secure the most competitive commercial terms. Internally, they liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned on chosen locations and then submit projects to HQ for final approval.

·       Implementing long-term, fast-paced and sustainable store expansion strategies

·       Executing and managing multiple ongoing negotiations at any given time

·       Operationg as part of a tight-knit Store Development team

·       Presenting of projects to senior leaders at HQ for approval on a monthly basis

·       Processing data analytics to support site selection strategy and decisions

·       Constant relationship management with our larger portfolio landlord partners

·       Cross collaboration with key internal stakeholders to ensure endorsement of selected locations is received

Qualifications:

·       Minimum 8 years relevant work experience, ideally within the real estate industry (i.e., landlord, developer, brand, agency, consultancy)

·       Proficient English and Mandarin, both written and spoken

·       University degree holder

Must Haves:

·       A confident and persuasive presenter in both in English and Chinese

·       Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the creativity to think outside the box

·       The ability to remain composed and lead a team through any and all scenarios

·       Excellent organizational skills: the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects under dynamic circumstances  

·       A high EQ: the ability to manage a wide range of relationships internal and external from many different cultural backgrounds
