About the role
Reporting into the Manager, Retail Learning & Leadership Partners, this role will enable delivery of training, development and on-boarding programs for stores through the most effective and consumable means using the right method/channel, for the right audience, at the right time through the most effective and consumable means. This role will be responsible for ensuring curriculum is localized, integrated, up-to-date and utilizes innovative delivery techniques and modalities to maximize skill acquisition and knowledge retention, as well as measuring and monitoring training effectiveness.
A day in the life:
Training Design & Project Management
· Partner with Learning + Leadership Team and Regional Manager to create and execute a local training strategy including onboarding of new store and managers and ongoing development for existing leadership teams.
· Partner with Learning Design to innovate and update all in-store training programs.
· Design, facilitate and deliver leadership development sessions as required for both RM,SMs and ASMs
· Ensure all retail training programs are running in a quality way in all stores in your region
· Work in close collaboration with a wide array of partners (i.e. community, operations, RM, and RTM) to provide an individualized learning experience for individual market needs
Training Delivery
· Implement and localize global learning programs including managing program logistics for participants,Create and execute enrollment strategy for upcoming training.
· Evaluate the success of training programs through various methods, including observation, surveys, interviews, and feedback.
· Remain immersed in the larger lululemon organization through attending regular team meetings, region level gatherings.
· Development and optimization of an e-tools platform
Train the Trainer
· Identify, prepare, and continue to develop facilitators to support the delivery of training programs, in addition to co-design and delivery of Train-the Trainer
· Ability to build a team of internal trainers in the region to provide relevant empowerment training to achieve effective training coverage with your own region support
Budget Control
· Manage training budget for your programs.
Qualifications:
· Recommended 3-5 years training experience or equivalent
· Regularly leads trainings and has the ability to adapt to various levels of experience and learning styles
· Detail oriented and love to brainstorm, plan, schedule, execute AND then go back – review and evolve
· Great at getting connected and related to everyone quickly
· Self-led leader with excellent time management and organization skills
· Experienced and skilled communicator, trainer, facilitator and coach
· Coachable and have an appetite to grow in our organization through developing others
· Available and willing to travel up to 3-5 nights per quarter
· Multilingual with English and Mandarin
· Experience creating learning support elements (posters, job aids, decks)
