About this team

The project management team works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create and manage projects that bring rich experiences to life for our guests. The team works very closely with business owners, product managers and technology lead’s in the supply chain management space to ensure delivery plans are created against product roadmaps in various areas with in supply chain space. The project management team is organized, curious, great at facilitation and knows how to get the right people involved at any given time to solve problems. The project management team values managing risks and dependencies to ensure our teams are working in the most optimal way to get value out to our guests as quickly as possible. A project manager at lululemon values various delivery methodologies ranging from waterfall to Kanban to scrum.

A day in the life:

Works closely with Finance team and related business Owners, internal Technology teams and vendors to ensure delivery plans are in place and managed. Responsible for aligning delivery plan with organization and managing the narrative of the delivery plan as the team is executing with value and guest impact as guiding principles.  

·       Plan, manage, monitor, and close/handover to operations for large projects with complex scope, multiple work streams and interdependencies. 

·       Effectively manage and report on risks and mitigation, scope, budget and timelines 

·       Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives.  

·       Ensure all project / program tasks are clearly understood, assigned and tracked. 

·       Complete all project documentation required based on our PMO process. 

·       Engage in and communicate ideas for supporting the continuous improvement of PMO processes with a positive and constructive attitude and for developing this attitude in others.  

·       Ability to manage in both Agile and Waterfall environments. 


·       Post-secondary education in computer science and finance management. 

·       PMP and or Scrum certification considered an asset. 

·       2+ years of project management/industry work experience. 

·       5+ years of experience working in the enterprise Accounting and Tax and Finance Planning application delivery space 

·       Strong leadership, sound judgement, critical thinking and decision-making skills 

·       Aptitude to learn and manage change 

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills  

·       Ability to successfully manage teams with competing priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization. 

·       CPA/ACCA preferred
